1. I have a first-class honours degree in Journalism and a gold-standard NCTJ qualification.

2. I worked for four years as an entertainment journalist for Business Insider, starting as an intern and moving up the ranks to reporter.

3. In 2025, I pivoted to freelance journalism and have since written for the List, Shortlist, the Set Set and TVLine.

4. My main focus is movies and TV shows, but I also like to explore and report on trends and major events in the music industry.

5. I run a Substack called A Fraction of Joy, where I discuss the biggest news in journalism, highlight films and TV shows I believe everyone should watch and write essays about pop culture.
